Addressing
harmful Child Labour
Implementing a project, ‘Work: No Child’s
Business’ in the states of Bihar, Delhi, and
Rajasthan since June 2019 to support the ongoing
work of the Government to address the issue
of child labour. This initiative is focusing
on safeguarding vulnerable children from economic
exploitation and abuse. In Delhi, we worked
with children in the garment industry in two
districts, namely; East and South East Delhi.
In Bihar, we worked with children engaged
in domestic work, agricultural labour, and
other forms of work in six districts: Araria,
Gaya, East Champaran, Kishanganj, Nalanda,
and Sitamarhi.
CRY
- Help Stop Child Labour and Prevent Child
Labour in India
Being a child rights NGO, CRY has been working
to stop child labour in India since its inception.
Our mission is to create a secure and protective
environment for all children, ensuring their
well-being and safeguarding their rights.
We firmly believe that no child should be
subjected to neglect, violence, or exploitation
and that marginalised children are particularly
vulnerable to such risks. |
