Sanjay Kumud Moreshwar Bapat thinks that scientists, innovators are great philanthropists because he doesnt think philanthropy is limited to financial donations. Maybe, he has old thinking or roots.

He thought new generation thinks new, and many times, they dont value old things.
Maybe new generation is fast or new innovations means the life of old innovation has expired.
e.g. Television. Now we use mobile as TV or there a slick TVs or big TVs or smart TVs. And the one that was invented is old.

But he thinks that first is first. Like the first individusl who went to moon will always be first. New technologies may even mean that in 2050, people go to moon for vacation or in 2150, there may be people living on moon.
