NGOs & NGO Brands

We will share NGOs from all countries on the NGO page of that country alphabetically
And not of the size of the NGO or whether they are NGOs or NGO Brands
We share NGOs in India in two ways. On NGOs in India page, we plan to share only 25000 NGOs but we share about 200000 NGOs in about 600 out of some 780 plus districts of India.
If your NGO or the NGO you know is not shared, please
share link to Datacentre and we will share it within a week. Its a free service. Contact : Datacentre@CSRIdentity.com

We share the Social Initiatives separately and if any NGO is actually working on 5 or 10 issues, we will share it in 10 different issues. But please send separate social issuewise links because we share social issue link and not link it to NGO index page. Donors may visit issue pages and if they see that the NGO is not working on the issue, NGO credibility is at stake. So ensure to send links to programmes which are happening and not "will happen if funds are provided."
Please dont send any photo, images, logo to us.

200 000 NGOs
CSRidentity.com has already shared about 150 000 NGOs from India but that is without their official website..

We started with Indian NGOs in 1999, so we have decided to share NGOs districtwise in India.

Out of our coverage of 788 districts, we have shared NGOs in about 600 districts of India.

We have seen that Pratham operates in almost every state of India and have seen that some NGOs operate is almost half the districts of a particular state or UT. We share them state or UT wise.

We just share names of
200 000 NGOs and not their websites because of many reasons like many NGOs which operate in districts of India

do not gurantee credibility of any NGO because we In case of any event which obstructs the above mentioned numbers, we will either share it by 28.8.2025 and if we cant do it by 31.3.2026, then we live the company to sustainable authorities.

CSRidentity.com shares NGO Brands countrywise separately because in each country brand we plan to share the following
1) Name of the NGO with link to its official website
2) Link to the partners or funders page of the NGO official website
3) Link to the social issues page of the NGO official website
(If there is no such page, then names of social issues the NGO has programmes in)

Please note that the names of NGOs which are NGO Brands are also shared in the names of NGOs in that country for following reasons
1) We may not know all the NGOs which are suppoted by corporates, funding agencies, philanthropists, celebrities and it means the NGO is yet not present in the NGO Brand
2) There may be donors or media which want to support NGOs which are yet not supported by any donor but are doing good work

NGO Shopping Malls
"Self esteem"
We started our social enterpreneurship journey with IndianNGOs.com in 1999 and then in 2010 started CSRidentity.com

Founder had an almost fatal accident on 28.8.2013. He realised that India - though large - is just one country in this world. He had started NGOs across the world in 2001 but aborted it because of it was too early thinking that time for a digital version.

And he changed the meaning of CSR to Conscience Sustainability & Reputation which means we cover corporates, corporate foundations, NGOs, funding agencies, philanthropists and their organisations, celebrities which directly support other NGOs or have their own NGO

Then came Covid which affected the economy and NGOs had own sustainability challenge.

Rohan, one of founder's son is disabled and after 28.8.2013, he was transferred to hostel run by NGOs. They sell products by people made their and also sell products made by others, so that the communities they serve are happy that their skill has value.

So NGO Shopping Mall idea was born. But its too early.
So it is part of CSRidentity.com and with time, we will have a separate organisation managing it
.

NGOs can sell products made by communities as well as sell products made by corporates because c
orporates know the reachout & relations of NGOs with communities. So they may use NGOs to sell their products or services. So NGOs can be Mini Shopping Malls, selling products of & to communities.

Social initiatives
Directly or indirectly

CSRidentity.com already share links to names of
200 000 NGOs social issue wise and we have seen that an NGO, specially in rural areas, either has programmes or is willing to do programmes on many issues. So name of the NGO may appear 5 times or even 10 times. So 200000 NGOs means at least 10 00 000 issuewise programmes.
We just share the name because we have started credit rating of NGOs in 2001 and realised it takes 3 to 6 months per NGO.

So credit rating of 200000 NGOs is not even possible for government if it has to be rated every year.

And anytime, anything can happen to the NGO, when its founder or team leaves the NGO

because you cant rate an NGO in 2020 and donors can say it is credit rated in 2023 because NGO team or founder may have changed, social workers may have changed.

What can NGOs in India do ?
CSRidentity.com plans has shared about 200 000 NGOs in India and we have shared just the names of these NGOs districtwise and not links to their websites because many NGOs dont have websites of their own.

But there are about 3 million NGOs in India and we have missed many NGOs which are not registered on governement of India's portal but are doing work in cities or villages and are run by volunteers. They can share their name districtwise and if they have a website, then share that too.

And mention the issues where you have programmes.

We have shared more than 2 million NGOs on various issues because the same NGO works on many social issues at the same time, especially in rural areas.

We have shared about 650 000 villages in India districtwise so that one can know which NGO exists in their district as well as the villages in 788 districts of India.

Dont send images, presentations, world or pef files

What can NGOs do ?
Share the issues on which they have programmes with link to the programme on their website.

If the NGO has programmes on more than one issue, the link will go to the relevant issue on the NGO website. So they can give issuewise links.

1) What CSRidentity.com plans to do ?
CSRidentity.com plans to share links to social issue programmes of anything above 200 000 NGOs

And when we mention 200 000 NGOs, the names will surely be above 2 million social initiatives.

Health issues
We know very few NGOs work on most of the health issues like cough, fever .... but are active on issues like HIV, Cancer, various disabilitfever .... but are active on issues like HIV, Cancer, various disability forms. So we have shared them as social issues but we have shared many health issues where medical doctors help rather than social doctors.
