India
Social programmes in India are shared districtwise.
On the index page of that district, we share NGOs and NGO Brands in
the district.
In India, there are many NGOs which do not have official website,
so we share either links to the official site (wherever possible)
or name. While we know that many NGOs work in more than one district,
we share the district where the NGO is registered.
In the social programmes, we first share the district with link to
it and then the NGO in that district where it has programmes but if
the NGO works in more than half the districts of any particular state,
we share the state. In case of UTs, we share districts.
We share programmes of NGOs, Funding Agencies, Corporate Foundation,
Philanthropists and their organisations, celebrities and their organisations,
colleges where students volunteer with an NGO or clubs which help
NGOs.
We do not share corporates issuewise because they are for profits.
We do not mention whether the organisation is NGO or funding agency
or Corporate Foundation or philanthropic organisation or organisations
started by celebrities because then the focus shifts from social programmes
to organisation types and funding agencies can get unnecessary calls
or emails because NGOs want funding.
While we do not cover political and religious issues, if an organisation
works in any other social issue, we cover that organisation name with
link to the related issue programme |
