Celebrities by social issue

Celebrities can be international, national, regional.
They have great influencing power.

If a celebrity is from films, sports or is a UN Goodwill ambassador then they have large number of followers and they can be brand icons for social issues they like.

Business celebrities are not the owners of companies which give large donations but individual business persons or families (of course they may own businesses or investment firms or can be royals who own money because they are born in economically royal families)/

A person from Art, Singing, Dance, Media .... is a celebrity with large followers. But we are not talking about Great artists or singer or crickter, or Golf or olympic mediallist as social doctor celebrities. If the help social sector, thenonly we cover them

Brand Thane

We do not think Thane as a brand just because in 2013, Thane was the largest district of India.

We think Thane as a Brand because we started our social enterprise by a portal on Thane and India in 1999 and founder Sanjay Kumud Moreshwar Bapat who is an Ashoka Fellow is from Thane and for him, its his responsibility to give back the parent city. If we had started in Tokyo or Dharavi slums or an area of naxalites, we may have put Brand name to that location.

We are fortunate that Thane has many doctors & hospitals and this make us make Thane, Health Knowledge Capital of the World (each body part & disease). We are different. Founder wanted his son Aum, to take over this portal but he wanted to become a doctor right from his school days. Now he is a doctor but we wont promote him because Doctor has to earn reputation, not by surname but with deeds.

Responsibility

Celebrities are brands.
We plan to share some 1000 special celebrities who use their celebrity status to help social, health & climate issues.
Either by giving money or time or their brand name. Or all three of them. And these are global examples with Thane as example. We want celebrities to replicate what other celebs are doing or scaleup their status as a caring celeb.

And we want to brand countries and social issues. So we mention them, their country name and field.
Our heart cries when we hear that 80% people in Chad are poor and mother gives birth to 6 children.
But physically heart doesnt cry and crying is not a solution.

So in each social issue, we plan to share names of celebrities and these are either linked to their individual pages or not linked if their pages are not accessible to all people.

On health issues, we plan to share information shared by doctors & hospitals from Thane.
And in non medical language.

We have realised that Yog is a great non medical medicine and will share what Rohini Bapat who is Yog expert thinks can be solution to many physical & mental problems.

And we think Lawyers play role of doctors because manytimes, the legal burden on India is so much, that a person expires but legal results are not given.

Also some lawyers play with emotions of people and ask any question to pressurise people. This is despite of the fact that law gives results by truth and not emotions.

We add Thane doctors, Thane hospitals and Thane lawyers as celebrities because people's life depends on health and legal issues. And Thane is our global example.

We think each country is a Brand.
So while we share funding agencies, we share the country (with link to the country index page) where they have programmes with link to the social initiatives.

Social issues get richer if visitors know that they are supported by a funding agency because then there is possibility that they get donations from corporates, funding agencies, philanthropists, celebrities and get more volunteers.

The funding agencies are different from corporate foundations or funding agencies by philanthropists or by celebrities.

We dont share funding agency names here.
The reason is simple and clear.

We have a dedicated page for each social issue and this page shares funding agencies which support that issue and also the country where the programmes are happening.

While each social issue is charged as fees for our sustainability & global promotion, any Non Funding Agency can take the above banner (because if there is a banner of funding agency A, then many other funding agencies will not like we giving importance to that funding agency.

Celebrities : One common thing please

Every celebrity in every category & in every country must use their influening power to inform their followers to take care of climate change because it is already crossing dangerous proportions. But not climate change activism, something which is legally ok with the government of their country.
