Parents play a vital role in supporting their children. In workshops, experienced Resource Teachers present theory and case studies and demonstrate specific skills and strategies parents can use to employ the child’s identified strengths and to compensate for weaknesses. Parent participation in group discussions and role-play helps them to understand their children’s learning problems (in handwriting, spelling, reading, and math) and learn strategies and skills to support their learning.
