Ashoka Fellows (Important things to know)

CSRidentity.com shares Ashoka Fellows in 95 countries on the index page of the country they are citizen of. We know how important it is to get Ashoka Fellowship when you have an idea but dont have resources to make it known in the world. Founder Sanjay Kumud Moreshwar Bapat has received Ashoka Fellowship from 2005 to 2008 for his social enterprise which was focussing on a portal of NGOs in India since 1999.

We know that Ashoka Fellows are doing social work which is unrecognised even in their country because hardly large numbers bother about social work in their life. They value celebrities from films, sports, business so much that they do not invest their time in social issues, NGOs, volunteering.

Of course things must change for goodness of earth and it is founder's responsibility to Brand Ashoka Fellows and many social enterprises (for profits or NGOs/NPOs) for the benefit of the world.

Social Entrepreneurship
Ashoka has pioneered the field of social entrepreneurship, identifying and supporting the world’s leading social entrepreneurs since 1980. Social entrepreneurs are individuals with innovative solutions to society’s most pressing social, cultural, and environmental challenges.

Social entrepreneurs are ambitious and persistent — tackling major issues and offering new ideas for systems-level change. They model changemaking behavior, and catalyze organizations and movements where everyone can be changemaker.

Founder Sanjay Kumud Moreshwar Bapat is planning to invite Ashoka Fellows from different countries to share just 100 words on the social scenario in their country and share it with corporates, funding agencies, NGOs, media and others because world is one and must know the problems people in this world family. Of course, he will link it to the Ashoka Fellow so that anyone can contact the person or the organisation directly.
