CARE : Skill Development of Blue Collar
Maya CARE provides free vocational training in driving, tailoring,
beautician courses, and household skills to underprivileged individuals,
enabling them to secure stable employment. So far, over 450 individuals
have been empowered through this initiative.

Sanchetana offers extensive three-month certificate training programs
in basic and advanced beautician courses, empowering numerous
women and girls with essential skills for success in the beauty
industry.
Stitching Class
Women and young girls have the opportunity to enroll in our intensive
three-month training programs in both basic and advanced tailoring.
Upon successful completion of the program, each participant receives
a certificate recognizing their acquired skills and proficiency.
SozenKari
Sozen Kari is an initiative by Sanchetana Community Health and
Research Center, dedicated to empowering women and adolescent
girls through traditional embroidery skills. This program provides
them with hands-on training in embroidery, helping them gain financial
independence while preserving the rich heritage of handcrafted
textiles. Each embroidery material at Sozen Kari is carefully
crafted by the skilled hands of trained women. By purchasing these
materials, you support their journey towards self-reliance, sustainable
livelihoods, and a stronger community. We also take custom orders,
creating intricate designs and unique patterns to suit your embroidery
works.

Garima Greh
is a special initiative by Sun Foundation that is aimed at providing
beauty courses specifically tailored for transgender individuals.
Recognizing the importance of inclusive education and economic
empowerment, this initiative offers comprehensive training in
various aspects of beauty and wellness. Through Garima Greh, transgender
individuals are not only equipped with valuable skills in makeup,
hairstyling and skincare but also provided with a supportive and
affirming environment to explore their talents and build their
confidence. By breaking barriers and promoting acceptance, Garima
Greh not only transforms lives but also fosters a more inclusive
and tolerant society.
