have been studying corporates across
the world from 2010. We have seen that
the BIG corporates, focus on Sustainability,
which means it takes care of its own
sustainability, that of its employees,
supply chain, climate and of course
CSR.
It is a fact that if a corporate is
sustainable, then only it can continue
its CSR activities. And in a way it
is good for the NGO sector because they
dont want to enter into a situation
that they commit things to community
and suddenly there funding stops because
donating corporates are not sustainable.
NGO have corpus fund which they can
use for a year or so and this is almost
compulsory because NGO sector has seen
situations like Covid in 2019. Plus
effects like flood, earthquake or political
as well as communal unrest.
That
is why though the short form of our
company is CSR consulting, its long
form is Corporate Sustainability &
Reputation Consulting and this thought
came in 2010 and not now.
