Yes,
Corporates earn income and make profits from products they make
or sale and services they offer.
So as integrators, Corporate's their CSR spend is larger than
individual product or service.
Its a saying "Chairty begins at home".
So it is expected that products & services invest in CSR if
one says CSR is Consumers, Sustainability & Reputation.
Here Sustainability means consumers, customers, clients stay with
the products for long time. Reputation means the image they earn
by being good with them. Its not just financial donation by product
brands. Corporates can donate products and offer services free.
And more importantly, corporates must look whether the products
they make take care of environment in their manufacturing, packaging,
logistics first, then whther they take care of health of consumers
or customers and clients (before taking care of financial health
of corporate), whether products earn profits (not make but earn
profits), whether the products & services are climate friedly
(in logistics, reaching out to shops or markets) |
