Many
companies only think of
Quality , Availability , Cost
It is ok but not the right strategy.
If
they think, they pay tax to the government,
so taking care of communities is not their job,
then it is legally right but whether consumers
think beyond their product, is clear. With technology
and advanced world with so many climate and
mental health challenges to live a day to day
life with stress free life, cosnumers want to
buy products from a caring company and not a
company which looks at just profit. Yes, they
want corporates to be profitable and sustainable
but not myopic to think of JUST profits.
Company
must remember that there is competition which
eyes the same consumer or customer or client.
And they can offer their product or service
at same cost that you give.
We
want customers, consumers of each product, service
to know whether the company which offers them
the product or service is caring and plan to
start some guidelines for each industry.
This
is besides the basics like Quality, Availability
or Cost which the consumer looks for anyway.
With
technology, its time they look beyond that.
Like a heroine may look good but her sustainability
and reputation depends on who she is (that is
what is Identity). So product identity or service
identity is important.
And Brand Identity has to be internal &
external character and goodness of the brand.
And
we want the sponsor to remember that they may
not be following all the rules & regulations
but must mention how corporates from the industry
1) care social issues because their consumers,
customers are from society
2) care health of their employees & their
families plus product should care consumer's
health
3) care climate within their premises, within
their locatity and in their country.
We
will not accept any sponsor for whatever money
if they share their product brand in the guidelines.
They can do it in advertising space but not
in guidelines.
