The Lesotho Textile Exporters Association (LTEA)
was established in 1993 as a "friendly society" under Lesotho's
Friendly Societies Act (1996) and registered with Lesotho's Registrar

in 2002. It represents the majority of manufacturers in the country.

affecting it.

internationally.
To work with members to build the industry's reputation as a responsible

level. It liaises with various government departments as well as participating
in bodies such as the African Cotton and Textiles Industries Federation
