Industry Associations in Botswana

Association of SADC Chambers of Commerce

The Association of SADC Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCCI) is an independent, non-profit organisation established in response to the growing need for effective participation for organised business in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. It is a regional private sector apex organization that brings together SADC National Chambers of Commerce and Industry as well as Confederations of Industries from all the SADC Member States and was established in 1992.

It represents 18 National Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Confederations of Industries, Trade Associations and Employer Organisations in all the SADC Member States. Mandated to be the voice of the private sector, ASCCI aims to enhance the private sector’s role in the regional integration agenda and its driving principle is to ensure that there is a strong and unified voice to support private sector growth and the development of a free market economy system in the SADC region.
