Rivers

Rivers is a great source of water.
Without water humans cant exist.
Water is not just used for drinking water or sanitation but Agriculture depends on water.
What vegetarians eat depends on Agriculture.
What Non Vegetarians eat (Chicken, Mutton, Fish) also depends on water for their own survival.

What we are realising now, is water is a great transportation medium. In age old days, people used to travel by boats to nearby cities or villages. But now we are realising that corporates can use this to transport their products through rivers from one location to another location. It is cheap transportation plus it will reduce traffic, reduce pollution, reduce time (and related costs) and will create local jobs (in a way it will reduce migration to big cities as well as provide jobs to millions of unemployed youth)

And NGOs can use this as a medium where they can develop skills of people from just using small boats to using small, medium and large ships plus related downloading of material.

So rivers is not just source of water but a good source to reduce traffic, pollution, migration, costs....
