The EICC Code of Conduct is a set of standards on social, environmental and ethical issues in the electronics industry supply chain. Code of Conduct In March of 2015, the EICC membership held a special out-of-cycle vote to further amend section A1 – Freely Chosen Employment – of the Code with regard to recruitment fees paid by workers. The approved language, which moves the Code to zero fees, can be viewed here. Members are encouraged to adopt this new language as soon as possible, but it will officially take effect on Jan. 1, 2016 to provide members with adequate time for implementation.
