PR People (CSRidentity.com calls them as celebrities because they have the power to influence their office or their clients, so they are like celebrities)

Lets not be myopic and think that PR means Press relations.
PR people have a role which is far larger.
Its internal communications first and then external communication (be it customers, clients, supply chain, media, NGOs, politicians, philanthropists, consultants ......)

And by internal we mean the people within your enterprise (The enterprise may be a corporate or an NGO or a funding agency or a PR agency ...)

If one works in a PR agency, then one works with many clients at the same time (typically corporate clients) and usually the head of the PR agency meets Chairman / MD / CEO of the client corporate and have a great role in enhancing the identity & image of the clients internally & externally.

By 31 March 2019 we plan to share more than thousand PR people in corporates as well as in PR agencies. We start with India as a global sample country and from 28.8.2018, we will start inviting and then sharing names of PR people in other countries.

We know these professionals may change institutions or place of work and therefore we will not share the names of the institute they are associated with, but just the name of the person.

We are concerned about Reputation of the sector because we know it is not just an individual reputation but it is an integration of PR People across the country.
