SCHEDULE VII
(See sections 135)

The Schedule VII of Section 135 clearly spells out activities which may be included by companies in their Corporate Social Responsibility Policies.
These are activities relating to:—
(i) eradicating extreme hunger and poverty (Same as GOAL 1)
(ii) promotion of education (Refined version of GOAL 2)
(iii) promoting gender equality and empowering women (Same as GOAL 3)
(iv) reducing child mortlity and improving maternal health; (Same as GOAL 4 & 5)
(v) combating human immunodeficiency virus, acquired immune deficiency syndrome, malaria and other diseases;(Same as GOAL 6)
(vi) ensuring environmental sustainability (Same as GOAL 7)
(vii) employment enhancing vocational skills (New)
(viii) social business projects (New)
(ix) contribution to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund or any other fund set up by the Central Government or the State Governments for socioeconomic development and relief and funds for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women (New)
(x) such other matters as may be prescribed. (Very loose)
