Why we went global ?
We had a website on Thane in 1999.

We then went to start IndianNGOs.com in 1999-2000.

We started CSRidentity.com in 2010 with clear idea that
1) Indian corporates should learn from corporates across the world and
2) corporatess from other countries can learn what they can do / implement from Indian corporates.
Citizens in this world equates CSR to Corporate Social Responsiobility, which is myopic thinking. In 2010, Sanjay had thought and put CSR as Corporate Sustainability & Reputation. Of course Identity reflects you. We were a social enterprise, so dot com
So it was CSRidentity.com

After an almost fatal accident on 28.08.2013, in an almost second life, our cofounder Sanjay Bapat thought that we are all humans who are citizens of the world (Global citizens). Humans make or work for not for profit or for profit organisations. But there are other living beings (pet animals, wild life, marine life)... other non living things (cement we use, steel we use, walls of our house, vehicles we use ...) ... and we as humans must think what we do to others including humans, living beings, nonliving things.....

We kept short form CSR as same but changed the longform to Conscience, Sustainability & Reputation. Of course, we kept identity same.

So instead of Thane, where we stay, India where we stay, our cofounder realised that any district / state / country / continent is relatively small. We are part of this world which is an integral part of this large universe. (We manytimes say this world, but we dont know science may share another world ....)
To summarise, we thought that in this almost new life, we must be global. So now, CSRidentity.com is global.

We also realised that each human being has life and after one expires, no one takes any money or any other thing (and this includes Queen, King, Princess, Prince, President, Prime Minister, Dictators, Socialites, Celebrities, Politicians, Common man / woman / third gender, Terrorists, Criminals...). What one thinks / remembers after one expires is reputation of the person.

Most people in this world are busy in education, income generation, loans, make more money, manage corporates, employ others ... solve challenges they face in their life & invest some time in entertainment, local trips, foreign trips.... there is no time to to know the issues of other countries.

So why cover all the countries, all the stakeholders ...

Sure one wants to know the social issues in her / his area.
So called CSR professionals invest time in identifying issues & programmes, what they can do differently and what are competitor's programmes....so to know various stakeholders like corporates, NGOs, FAs, media in her / his country.

They have time to go to other countries as a tourist to either enjoy the tourist places or meet relatives or religious places... but they dont have time or inclination to see the social issues / challenges and what challenges are solved by governments, corporates / NGOs / funding agencies / media / celebrities ... in other countries.

That is why we have shared each country separately.
But our main focus is social issues.
So go to the country of your need / want, see various stakeholders like government in the country folder.
We cover corporates, NGOs, celebrities, media countrywise but each country and each district of India is covered under social issue fora.

But some have global focus and want to know what is happening in different countries on social issues say education, environment, climate change, livelihood, skill development, water ... so they can select the issue of their choice and see programmes on any issue & its subissues in different countries.

Institutions can fund issues, countries, stakeholders ...
CSRidentity.com knows that it needs substantial money to collect and share information, stakeholder wise programmes which are shared issuewise...
We know we dont have large funds but CSRidentity.com is not a site to promote products which can be advertised locally or regionally or nationally ... e.g. which bank to select for financial services, which products should be bought for tasty food (we are not talking about nutritious food) .....
So CSRidentity.com wants to promote issues, countries, stakeholders ... with ads which are social in nature and these ads surely enhance global image of the corporate / funding agency / philanthropist ...
Last word here is our request to readers to remember that world is a village.
While sharing each stakeholder across the world, we first thought of developmental celebrities as a stakeholder. We developed each developmental celebrity but instead of just mentioning them alphabetically, we know they are citizens of a country, so shared them in one large folder titled "developmentalcelebrities" and within that folder shared their brief profiles countrywise. We first thought of developmental celebrities because we know their life is dedicated for one issue (not money) and they devote their life to idea, innovation, replication, scaling up the programme.

Mahatma Gandhi's Top Ten Fundamentals for Changing The World.

"...We May Ignore ' Gandhi ' At Our Own Risk ."
— Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

1. Change
"You must be the change you want to see in the world."
"As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world - that is the myth of the atomic age - as in being able to remake ourselves."

2. Control
"Nobody can hurt me without my permission."

3. Forgiveness
"The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong."
"An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind."

4. Action
"An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching."

5. The present moment
"I do not want to foresee the future. I am concerned with taking care of the present. God has given me no control over the moment following."

6. Everyone is human
"I claim to be a simple individual liable to err like any other fellow mortal. I own, however, that I have humility enough to confess my errors and to retrace my steps."
"It is unwise to be too sure of one's own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err."

7 Persist
"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."

8. Goodness
"I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won't presume to probe into the faults of others."
"I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people."

9. Truth
"Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony."
"Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well."

10. Development
"Constant development is the law of life, and a man who always tries to maintain his dogmas in order to appear consistent drives himself into a false position."

Mahatma Gandhi never said, " What can I do, I'm only one person." Instead he said ," In a gentle way ,you can shake the world ." And he did ...
